8 Nov 2011 - 8 May 2012
In partnership with Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.
In 2010, the first ‘Stories At Alder Hey‘ project took place and was considered a great success by all who took part and facilitated the project. We are delighted to be able to offer a new project for 2011/12.
This year two groups of children will work with the artists to make a set of storytelling resources which will then go to all wards across the hospital.
Also, patients from a variety of wards will take part in storytelling session, playing an active role in re-telling and making stories using music, puppetry, drama, props and improvisation.
The project is suitable for patients of all ages at Alder Hey. Activities are flexible to ensure that all children can take part and can happen at the bed side for individuals or in communal play areas for small groups.
